Hi, I'm Emma
Auslan Interpreter | Dietitian | Wife | Mum
Growing up as a CODA (Child Of Deaf Adults), sign language was my first form of communication with my parents.
Fast forward to today, sign language still plays a major role in my life as an Auslan interpreter, communicating with deaf individuals and as a wonderful form of communication with our babies.
We've seen firsthand on numerous occasions through our own children, family and friends how invaluable baby sign language can be, giving our children a voice before they can speak!
I adore my role as a mother, and watching our children learn and grow while being understood and able to communicate has been one of the most powerful parts of our parenting journey. This is why I'm so passionate about helping other parents experience the same confidence, connection, and joy that signing with our babies has brought into our family.
I'm also extremely passionate to support a greater connection between Deaf and hearing communities through the promotion of Auslan.
